SynopsisLuke has come back to Britain after spending five years as a medic in Palestine. The horrors that he has witnessed have left him spiritually void and empty, he arrives home in a haze to discover that his Sister has gone missing. His family doesn’t care about his Sister’s whereabouts, labelling her a drug addict and prostitute but Luke goes in search of her in an attempt to heal his broken psyche. The mission to find her becomes more twisted and dark when he discovers that she joined a cult led by the enigmatic David Newman, a charismatic and influential individual who’s “family” treat him as the Second Coming of Christ, the New Messiah. As Luke becomes indoctrinated into the group he discovers that the family are not as harmonious as they preach and his Sister’s disappearance may lead him down a more sinister path than he initially thought |
